About Our Hydraulic Couplings & Fittings

Couplings, banjo fittings and hose that link the hoses, pipes and cylinder lines of a hydraulic circuit. These joints are opened and closed every time an implement is changed or a machine is serviced, so we machine each one for an accurate thread and a dependable seal.

Hydraulic Couplings & Fittings We Make

QRC Coupling (Quick Release Coupling)
01

QRC Coupling (Quick Release Coupling)

A push-to-connect coupling that lets an operator hook up or release a hydraulic line in seconds, by hand, with very little oil lost.

Anyone who changes implements on a tractor knows how much time a stubborn coupling can waste. Our QRC (quick release coupling) uses a spring-loaded sleeve that locks the two halves together as soon as they are pushed home. Pull the sleeve back and the line comes free, with no spanner and barely a drop of oil.

It is the standard choice for tractors, tipping trolleys, loaders and other mobile hydraulics where attachments come on and off through the day. We offer it in several sizes, so you can match the coupling to the flow and pressure of your circuit instead of forcing oil through a bore that is too small.

Key features

  • Spring-loaded sleeve that locks and releases by hand
  • Very little oil lost when the line is disconnected
  • Several sizes for different flow rates and pressures
  • Locking groove machined to a close tolerance for long service life
Male Female Coupling
02

Male Female Coupling

A matched male and female pair that joins two hose or pipe ends into one firm, leak-free connection.

This coupling comes as a pair: a male end and a female end made to mate with each other. Screw or push them together and you get a firm joint between two hoses, two pipes, or a hose and a pipe, sealed well enough to hold working pressure without seepage.

Both halves are cut to standard thread sizes, so they work with the hoses and fittings already on most tractors and hydraulic machines, whatever the brand. That matters when a line has to be repaired in the field and the nearest spare comes from a different supplier.

What you get

  • Male and female halves supplied as a matched pair
  • Standard threads that suit most equipment brands
  • Firm, leak-free joint at working pressure
  • The same thread fit from one order to the next
Banjo Bolt
03

Banjo Bolt

A hollow bolt with an oil passage through its centre, used to make a compact, swivelling connection where a straight fitting will not fit.

A banjo bolt looks like an ordinary bolt, but it is drilled along and across the shank so oil can pass through it. Fitted with a banjo eye and a sealing washer on each side, it gives a neat connection that can be turned to any angle before it is tightened. That makes it the answer for crowded pump, valve and cylinder ports where there is no room to swing a straight fitting.

A banjo joint seals on its flat faces. If those faces are not truly flat, or the cross-drilling leaves a burr, the joint will weep. We face and drill every bolt with that in mind and make sure the bore is clear before it is packed.

Key features

  • Oil passage drilled through the shank
  • Swivels to any angle before tightening
  • Flat, square sealing faces for a dry joint
  • Offered in a range of thread sizes
Banjo T
04

Banjo T

A banjo fitting with a T-shaped passage that feeds two outlets from a single pressure line and one mounting point.

The Banjo T takes the swivelling, space-saving mount of a banjo joint and adds a branch. One pressure line goes in and two outlets come out, all from a single bolt position. It is the tidy way to split a supply when there is no room for a separate T fitting and the extra hose loops that come with it.

As with our banjo bolts, the washer faces are machined flat and the thread pitch is held the same across the batch, so each piece seats and seals like the last.

Highlights

  • Two outlets from one banjo mounting point
  • Rotates to suit awkward hose runs
  • Machined flat washer faces
  • Standard thread sizes
Hose Pipe
05

Hose Pipe

Reinforced hydraulic hose that carries oil between pump, valves and cylinders, and stands up to high pressure and constant flexing.

Hydraulic hose on a tractor has a hard life. It flexes every time the trolley tips, shakes with the engine, bakes in the summer sun and sits in the cold overnight. Our hose pipe has reinforcing layers under the outer cover so it can take that routine without cracking, ballooning or bursting at working pressure.

We supply it in sizes and end fittings that match our own couplings and nipples. Ordering the hose and its fittings together means the complete line comes from one supplier, and you know the parts will fit.

Key features

  • Reinforced construction for high working pressure
  • Flexes repeatedly without cracking
  • Handles vibration, sun and temperature changes
  • Sized to match our couplings and nipples
