Compressor Fittings We Make

Air Compressor Socket & Coupling
01

Air Compressor Socket & Coupling

A weld-on tank socket and a quick-connect air coupling, the two fittings that carry compressed air from the compressor tank to the tool.

Every compressed air system starts at the tank and ends at the tool, and these two fittings cover both ends. The socket is welded directly onto the compressor tank to give it a fixed, threaded outlet. Valves, gauges, hoses and every other air fitting start from this point, so we pay close attention to how cleanly it welds and how true its thread is cut.

The coupling goes at the other end of the line. Push the plug in to connect, pull the sleeve back to release, and air tools can be changed in seconds without a spanner. It seals as soon as it is connected, so the line holds pressure while the tool is working. When you enquire, tell us whether you need the socket, the coupling or both.

Key features

  • Weld-on socket gives the tank a fixed threaded outlet
  • Clean thread form, so fittings screw in square and seal tight
  • Push-to-connect coupling with tool-free release
  • Holds a tight seal through repeated connections
  • Standard air line and pneumatic sizes
Compressor Hex Nipple
02

Compressor Hex Nipple

A hex nipple for compressor and air line pipework, made to stay sealed through constant pressure cycling.

A compressor loads and unloads many times an hour, and every fitting in the line feels that pulse. The compressor hex nipple joins pipe sections in air systems and is made to stay tight through the constant cycling.

Its hex collar takes a standard spanner, so joints can be opened and remade during servicing without damaging the fitting. The threads are gauged before dispatch for a sealed joint all the way from the tank to the tool.

Key features

  • Made for repeated pressure cycling
  • Hex collar for spanner tightening
  • Air-tight joints from tank to tool
  • Standard air line sizes
Threaded Reducer Bush
03

Threaded Reducer Bush

A threaded bush that steps a welded socket down to a smaller pipe or fitting size, so lines of different sizes can be joined securely.

Pipe sizes do not always match. A tank or line may carry a large welded socket while the hose, valve or gauge you need to fit is a size smaller. The threaded reducer bush bridges that gap: it screws into the welded socket and gives you a smaller threaded port, so the two sizes connect without an extra adapter.

Both the outer and inner threads are cut accurately, so the bush seats firmly in the socket and the fitting screws in straight. The result is a secure, leak-free joint in compressed air lines, industrial pipework and general engineering use.

Key features

  • Connects pipes or fittings of different sizes
  • Made for welded socket assemblies
  • Accurately cut threads for a secure, leak-free joint
  • Suits compressed air, industrial piping and general engineering
